A man from Bromley has been fined more than £800 in court for driving with and using a cancelled Blue Badge.

Zaider Zubair was found guilty of driving a Mercedes in Bromley on July 3, 2021 with a badge issued under Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 was displayed on the vehicle after it had been cancelled.
Zubair, of Coombe Lea in Bromley, was subsequently ordered to pay £834 in total for the offence during a Single Justice Procedure hearing at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on January 18, 2022.
This includes a £440 fine, £44 to fund victim services and costs of £350.
This must be paid by February 15.
